He's the last member of the pop group to release solo material, Liam Payne has well and truly left his One Direction days behind him, if his debut single is anything to go by.

It sounds like Payne's solo material more in common with his former colleague Zayn Malik than any of his other bandmates, as 'Strip That Down' indicates.

The track also features a verse from Quavo, a rapper from hip-hop group Migos, and is (presumably) a love letter to his girlfriend Cheryl Cole with lines like 'Your love it hit me hard, girl / Yeah, you're bad for my health / I love the cards that I've been dealt".
