Jack White has positioned himself as a modern-day bluesman, both over the course of his work with The White Stripes and his solo material.

His last solo album in particular, 'Lazaretto', was a dirty, grimy, raw blues-rock record - but it seems like he may be heading in a different direction entirely with album number three, 'Boarding House Reach' (out March 23rd).

Although its first two songs 'Connected By Love' and its b-side 'Respect Commander' weren't too much of a departure, White has found his inner funk musician on new single, 'Corporation'.

We have to say, though, we're liking what we hear.
