With The Libertines back releasing albums and touring, it seems that Pete Doherty's creative muse has been sparked once more.

The co-frontman of the indie-rockers will release his second solo album this year, according to reports.

The follow-up to 2009's 'Grace/Wastelands' apparently has the working title of 'Flags of the Old Regime', as Exclaim report, and its lead single will be released in spring.

Doherty - or Peter Doherty as he is known for his solo material - released a solo single of the same name last year, with proceeds going to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
