Let's Hear It For New York - Pop Up Music Store to Help New York's Indie Music Community

Hear It For New York

A pop-up music shop has been created to help raise money for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The online bandcamp store (located here) will be online for a month and will offer songs donated by musicians from across the globe for download. The donations would be evenly split up amongst New Amsterdam Records, Norton Records, WFMU & South Sound Music & Art Space, who all have suffered serious damages.

If you're a fan, why don't you head along and download a song. Currently the website features musical donations from Ollie Cole, Mundy, Robotnik, Nina Hynes and other have signed up.

Also, if you're a musician, why not donate a track? It's quick, easy and all for a good cause.
