Dublin electropoppers Le Galaxie have shared the brand new video for their new single.

'Put the Chain On' is the latest track to be taken from their second album 'Le Club', and the video features footage of the band performing live, alongside some very funky visual effects.

It was directed by Brendan Canty of Feel Good Lost, the team behind Hozier's 'Take Me to Church'.

Canty said the psychedelic video was inspired by "LA sunset imagery", adding: "We wanted to make the band almost seamless with the visuals. To do this we shot them on green screen and then turned them into masks. Then we used the same footage as the background inside of them but played with the colours. To create that fast moving coloured texture we got a sheet of latex, wet it, then lit it with different colours and flapped it about. The result was really abstract and interesting! Mixed with this we used a simple shot of forest trees from a car window… as we filmed it we quickly zoomed in and out which gave it this warped type of energy. Then in post we experimented with layering these shots over each other and playing with the hue, moving them to the music. This video was a super diy and a lot of fun to make."
