MCD have today announced a belter of a line-up for their brand new festival Longitude. The festival will take place in Dublin’s Marlay Park over the weekend of 19th to 21st July.

French electro-pop geniuses Phoenix will headline the first day of the festival, with Vampire Weekend pegged to take centre stage on Saturday night. Kraftwerk will then bring the curtain down on the festival with a 3D concert (!) on Sunday night.

Longitude will be MCDs first proper foray into the ‘boutique festival’ market, which has brought great success to the likes of Electric Picnic and Body & Soul and the line-up (which you can see below) rivals those put forth by the aforementioned festivals.

Previous concerts in Marlay Park have taken place in one particular section of the grounds but MCD insist that Longitude will be spread across the rolling hills of the park, with art installations and more scattered across the grounds and into the woods.

The tickets, too, are relatively inexpensive with early bird weekend passes costing only €129.50 and early bird day tickets priced at €44.50. Regular weekend tickets are €149.50 and day passes €54.50. The early bird offer expires on April 7th and tickets go on sale from 9am on Monday 4th March.

The full announced line-up for Longitude 2013 is:
