The Steven Soderbergh helmed, Dublin shot action film previously titled Knockout, has had a name change; it will now be called Haywire, and will be released in America in January, via Lionsgate. According to The Playlist, Soderbergh is apparently locked on the film, and has been screening it in LA.

Starring Mixed Martial Artist, Gina Carano as a former special ops solider, who seeks revenge after she is screwed over in the middle of a mission. Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum, Bill Paxton, Michael Fassbender and Mathieu Kassovitz offer incredibly starry support, in what sounds like a really fun flick.

The Playlist have read the script, and have raved about it. Throw in an Oscar winning director, a fledging action star and THAT supporting cast and we should really be in for a treat.
