KnockanStockan Promote Irish Music With CD Series

The folks behind Blessington's annual small festival KnockanStockan are continuing to champion up and coming Irish music by releasing a series of four CDs between now and their 2011 festival.

The first in the series features music from Enemies, The Hot Sprockets and Spook of the Thirteenth Lock. It will be launched at a special release party in the Sweeney Mongrel, Dame Street, from 5pm on Saturday September 11th, promising music on all 3 floors, busking and festivities until late into the night. The CD will be on sale for €9.99 from their KnockanShop, along with various other merchandise and memorabilia.

After the launch the CD will be available for download via www.knockanstockan.ie . You can also pick up a copy in Tower Records where 5 CDs will contain a ‘Golden Ticket’, free admission to next year's festival.
