The Love/Hate relationship continues. They’ve known each other since their teens and have never been afraid to vent their innermost feelings about each other to the press – and that’s just what Keith Richards has done once again, this time to Esquire Magazine, suggesting that the pair are like a married couple.

“You’ve got two very volatile guys who’ve been through a whole lot of stuff in their life and still somehow manage”, Richards told the magazine. “Sometimes I despise the man, others, I love that man so much. It’s like your brother. I never had one, so he’s my brother. That’s the way it is, bless his heart.”

This comes not long after Richards and Jagger are back on speaking terms, following comments made by Richards about the size of Jagger’s, um, manhood in his autobiography. Jagger, as one might imagine, didn’t take too kindly to Richards’ assertions and their already frosty relationship deteriorated to the point that that the pair were no longer on speaking terms.
The reconciliation ultimately led to the Rolling Stones’ brief comeback tour, which will culminate this month with two shows in New Jersey.

Responding to Richards’ comments, Jagger seemed less enthused about the idea of them being married. “People say the stupidest things and that’s one of the dumbest because it’s completely different from being married when you work with someone. I work with Keith and I’ve known him a long time.”

Playing hard to get, are we Mick?
