It might have been her breakthrough single, but it seems that Katy Perry isn't overly proud of 'I Kissed a Girl' given the benefit of hindsight.

The pop star was reflecting upon her 2008 hit in a new interview with Glamour, when she was reviewing covers of her early hits that were performed by fans.

When it came to 'I Kissed a Girl', she said: "We've really changed, conversationally, in the past 10 years. We've come a long way. Bisexuality wasn't as talked about back then, or any type of fluidity."

She added: "If I had to write that song again, I probably would make an edit on it. Lyrically, it has a couple of stereotypes in it."
