Justin Bieber has unleashed legions of Beliebers on The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney in response to Carney's statement after Sunday's Grammy Awards that the "Grammys are for music, not money - and he's making a lot of money." Bieber resonded via Twitter, in which he said that Carney should be "slapped around".

Bieber's manager Scooter Braun (real name) had previously blasted the awards for failing to give his client even a single nomination. The Black Keys took home three awards, for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album, while Keys frontman Dan Auerbach won the prestigious Producer of the Year award for his work on the band's latest album El Camino and Dr John's Locked Down.

Carney also imparted some of his wisdom to up n' coming bands who want to stand on a Grammys stage too. "Buy a minivan and go on tour - see what happens", he said echoing the strategy that The Black Keys employed for the first few years of their career.

As for Bieber, he has been quoted as saying that he'll "definitely" win a Grammy one day so at least he still has his humility.
