As we all know, Justin Bieber was in Dublin last week to play two sold out gigs at the 3Arena, as well as create headlines for being 'rude' to a fan who was filming him on Grafton Street.

In between those activities, he also made time to enjoy the city's nightlife - reportedly making appearances at Xico on Baggot Street, Sinnott's on South King Street and apparently even The Long Hall on South Great George's Street during his time in Dublin. By all accounts, he made it to quite a few watering holes and now, he has allegedly revealed which one was his favourite - and it seems that the Biebs is generally a fan of 'old man' style pubs instead of young, hip and trendy places.

A young Irish barman working in Toronto reportedly struck up a conversation with Bieber when he just wandered in for a JD and coke on Friday night.

Dale McDermott told The Herald: "It wasn’t wasn’t too busy and next thing a customer came down stairs. I said ‘hello, how are you’ and next thing realised it was Justin Bieber. He sat on his own and ordered a Jack Daniels and coke. I left him alone but after a while we got chatting.”

He said they talked about Ireland and what pubs that Bieber had been to. “He really enjoyed himself in Ireland and said he liked the people. We talked about the pub scene. He was trying to remember the names of ones he went to. It was O’Donoghue’s he enjoyed most."

So there you have it - O'Donoghue's, forget your long-established musical heritage, the trad sessions, Christy Moore and The Dubliners - and get a plaque up on the wall that reads ''Justin Bieber's favourite Dublin boozer' - Some Random Irish Guy", stat.
