Well, talk about some depressing news to start the day (and we apologise in advance for this) - but it's been revealed that Justin Bieber has broken a record previously held by The Beatles after releasing his new album 'Purpose' last week.

The record for most songs in the US Billboard Top 100 was previously held by the Fab Four, who had 14 songs in the Top 100 in April 1964. Earlier this year, Canadian rapper Drake managed to equal that fifty-year-old record in both March and October, but now Bieber has bested them both with 15 songs currently in the Top 100.

Drake, we can take. Bieber? Not so much.

Bieber's new album 'Purpose' also beat One Direction's 'Made in the A.M.' to the top of the US charts after all the kerfuffle about them releasing their new albums on the same day.

In any case, the Adele juggernaut will be demolishing both this week, so what does it matter?
