It seems that Justin Bieber has put his extended break from touring to good use, as he's just announced a new single.

The Canadian pop star revealed that a new single called 'Friends' will be released this coming Thursday at noon (which means we'll hear it later in the afternoon).

Little is known about the release except that it's a collaboration with American musician/producer BloodPop, who has previously worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Madonna, Beyonce and Britney Spears. He also produced much of Lady Gaga's 'Joanne' as well as a number of tracks on Bieber's album 'Purpose'.
