A man who remains eternally popular with Irish audiences, Josh Ritter isn't as regular a visitor to Ireland as he once was.
However, the American musician is returning to Europe for the first time in several years in early 2017 to play a select number of solo shows.
One of them is pencilled in for Dublin, where he'll play the intimate confines of the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire on Saturday, February 18th.
The shows are to road-test new material that he has been writing of late, as well as throwing a few oldies into the mix.
