Sad news this morning, with the legendary Joni Mitchell being taken to hospital in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the 71-year-old star, best known for her iconic album 'Blue' and songs like 'Big Yellow Taxi' and 'Both Sides Now', was hospitalised after an emergency call to her house at 2.30pm local time yesterday.
She was placed in intensive care, although reports suggest that she's alert and a spokesman said that she was in "fair" condition.
