Jay Z and Beyonce's status as music's power couple looks set to be underlined even further after reports emerged this morning from the United States that the duo are set to record an album together.

Jay Z has had his fingerprints all over Beyonce's career over the past decade, featuring on numerous tracks of hers from her debut solo single 'Crazy In Love' all the way back in 2003 to last year's 'Drunk In Love' - returning the favour from when Beyonce lent her vocals to Jay's hit 'Bonnie & Clyde'.

Since then Jay has never been too far away from Beyonce's career. He was heavily involved in the production on Beyonce's surprise album from late last year AND had an executive producer credit on Beyonce's child and their collaborative careers show no sign of stopping.

Details are scant at the moment, leaving us with more questions than answers at the moment but logic dictates that when this record is released it might lead to ANOTHER joint tour from Beyonce and Jay Z. And we're okay with that.
