Former White Stripe Jack White celebrated last weekend's Record Store Day in style, by recording, pressing and releasing a brand new track - all within hours of each other. Listen to the track above.

White recorded a version of 'Lazaretto', the title track from his upcoming second solo album, at his Third Man studios in Nashville. The track was recorded directly to vinyl, after which the masters were sent directly to the nearby United Record Pressing Plant where the 45" records were pressed and then delivered directly to the gaggle of fans patiently waiting outside, a few of whom had been waiting overnight for the privilege.

White's Lazaretto (the album, that is) will see the light of day in the first week of June and is the follow-up to his outstanding solo debut Blunderbuss and you'll have you chance to hear the new tunes live when White rolls into town for a show at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham on June 26th.

The tracklisting for Lazaretto is:

'Three Women'
'Lazaretto'
'Temporary Ground'
'Would You Fight For My Love?'
'High Ball Stepper'
'Just One Drink'
'Alone In My Home'
'Entitlement'
'That Black Bat Licorice'
'I Think I Found The Culprit'
'Want And Able'
