The way Britney Spears has been working over the last few years, you'd be forgiven for thinking that she'd fallen off the face of the planet.
Unless you've been in Las Vegas, of course, where the pop star has been undergoing a residency at the AXIS Auditorium since 2013.
As far as the rest of the world is concerned, it's been two years since she released any new material; 'Britney Jean' was her last record in 2013.
However, she is working on the follow-up, according to a new Twitter post:

That said, her Las Vegas residency was recently extended by two years and that'll run until at least 2017 - so don't expect to see her on a world tour anytime soon.
