Irish singer Rebecca Harkin to be part of Other Voices Derry
Derry singer Rebecca Harkin will be revisiting her old stomping ground when she plays as part of the upcoming Other Voices Derry, as the much-loved music series moves northward from its spiritual home in the Church of St James, Dingle on February 8th, 9th and 10th.
Harkin, whose performances consist of piano and vocals and have been likened to Joni Mitchell and Stevie Nicks, will play in the Grand Central Bar on Friday 8th of February at 7pm ahead of shows in Dublin and summer festival slots over the coming months.

Rebecca Harkin is one of the most talented young ladies I've ever had an opportunity to listen to! Her music is absolutely beautiful and truly comes from deep down inside of her incredibly talented heart! I look forward to the day when I can pop her 1st solo CD in my car stereo for one of the most pleasurable listening experiences of my life! I've seen Rebecca perform live in Derry during the Gasyard Feile in 2011 with The Durty Stopouts and to date it is one of those magical memories of my very first visit to Ireland! I look forward to hopefully seeing her perform live again this Summer when my friend and I make another memorable trip back to our second home in Northern Ireland!!! Thank you for covering her in this great format!!!

Miss Rebecca Harkin is an amazing talent! Her voice is angelic! My family has been following her for years, over here in the States. We could not be more proud! And what a treat for all of you to have her on-board! This is so exciting! We wish we lived closer...once you hear her voice, you will be a fan forever! Bravo kiddo! Well done & well deserved!
