A number of Irish acts have been confirmed for the 4th Levon Helm Tribute next month at Dublin's Sugar Club.
It takes place on April 16th, and will feature performances by The Academic, Gavin Glass, Square Pegs (featuring Graham Hopkins (The Frames) and Colm Quearney (ex-Lir), The Group (Last Waltz Tribute Act), The Drays (the new vehicle for former Stars Of Heaven and Revenants man Stephen Ryan), Carol Keogh, Rag Mama Rag and some very special guests to be announced.
All of the acts involved will perform songs from right throughout The Band singer/drummer's career, including his solo output, and a DJ will follow the live entertainment into the wee hours.

As always, all proceeds will go to the Irish Cancer Society. Helm passed away from cancer in April 2012, at the age of 71.
