The annual IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards took place last night in Dublin, which saw 10,000 members of the Irish Music Rights Organisation vote for their favourite Irish venue.
The Minutes, Lethal Dialect and Jack O'Rourke performed live on the night, and the winners in each category were:
National Live Music Venue of the Year: Dolan's, Limerick
Best Dublin Venue: Vicar Street
Best 'Rest of Leinster' Venue: Cleere's Bar & Theatre, Kilkenny
Best Ulster Venue: Voodoo, Letterkenny
Best Munster Venue: University Concert Hall, Limerick
Best Connacht Venue: Matt Molliy's, Mayo
IMRO Live Music Festival of the Year: Electric Picnic
IMRO Best Small Live Music Festival 2014: Kilkenny Rhythm & Roots
Lifetime Achievement Awards: 5th on Teeling, Sligo and Whelan's, Dublin
Hot Press Live Music Venue of the Year: 3Arena, Dublin
