Grant Hart, one of the founding memebrs of Husker Du, has passed away at the age of 56.
The announcement was made earlier today, with the official Facebook page of Husker Du posting a picture of Hart with no caption. Hart had been battling cancer for some time.
Earlier today, fellow Husker Du member Bob Mould posted on Facebook about Hart's passing, saying that Hart was "a gifted visual artist, a wonderful story teller, and a frighteningly talented musician. Everyone touched by his spirit will always remember."
