Yesterday, we brought you the news that Russell Crowe's new musical project 'Indoor Garden Party' would be playing Dublin in October.
It seems that the actor and his musical cohorts have only announced a limited run of three gigs in the UK and Ireland - one of which takes place at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on October 1st.
Indoor Garden Party also features Canadian folk-rocker Alan Doyle as well as Samantha Barks, Scott Grimes and Carl Falk, and will release their debut album 'The Musical' on June 16th.
According to the press release, "The ethos of the musical collective known as The Indoor Garden Party, a hive-mind of world-class musicians, songwriters and performers joining together for the sole purpose of creating unique material and enjoying each other’s company."
It continues: "Free from conventional restraints, The Indoor Garden Party’s ever-growing songbook spans a variety of genres including pop, soul, rock and folk, the artists concerned only with mining whatever path their creativity sets them on a given day. The focus is on dynamic songs, rich in melody and emotion."
Now for the ticket info: standard tickets start at €39.50 including booking fee, but VIP tickets - which include a laminate, signed photo, gift, meet and greet and drinks reception with the band post show with photo opportunity - are from €357. Eeek.
