Happy Mondays add second Irish date

03 February 2012

The Happy Mondays have added a second show to the Dublin leg of their comeback tour. The band's original line-up will now be performing at the Olympia on May 14th and 15th with fellow reforming acts Inspiral Carpets confirmed as support.

Tickets for both shows will set you back €49.65.

This is the first time that Bez, Gary Whelan, Mark Day, Paul Davies, Paul Ryder, Rowetta and Shaun Ryder will have performed together in almost 20 years.

Shaun Ryder said of the reformation: "We all met up last week and some of the lads haven’t seen each other in over 10, 15 years. It’s as if we’ve never been apart – so good to all be in the same room again. We can’t wait now to get on tour and play the songs that made us famous."
