It seems that the 'HMV in Ireland' saga is not completely over as the story has reportedly taken a turn for the worse.
Although the shops were thrown a lifeline a few years back after being bought by new owners Hilco, unfortunately the market in Ireland proved unviable and their Irish stores closed on August 31st.
However, according to a tweet posted by HMV's Henry Street store, money owed to staff, which was due to be paid today, has not materialised.

Let's hope the issue is resolved ASAP for all concerned.
