Over the last few years Groove has attained a reputation for being one of Ireland's most family-friendly festivals - and there's even more in store for those attending with little'uns this year.

The festival takes place at Kilruddery House in Bray on August 19th and 20th, with the likes of UB40 and Primal Scream on the musical line-up.

Kids under 12 now go free at Groove Festival - although you must register online by August 1st for your free ticket (a booking fee applies). Teens aged 13 - 17 will also be eligible for a reduced rate ticket (when accompanied by an adult), and some of the activites available for the smallest members of the family include a giant sandpit and petting zoo, arts & crafts classes, the team from Silly Billy Events running shows from 11am to 6pm daily, while well-known Chef Oliver McCabe will be on hand with healthy kids' cooking demos as part of the new Thrive wellness area, which will also run kids’ yoga classes.

There'll also be zorbing on the lake, archery areas and a climbing wall, while the Family Ticket will allow the flexibility of parents to leave the festival site, drop the kids with the babysitters and come back for more fun in the evening.

Tickets for adults are from €59.50 each are now on sale; teenagers aged 13-17 tickets are from €24.50 each. All tickets are available from www.groovefestival.ie now.
