Green Day frontman to mentor on The Voice despite rehab stint
Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong's stint in rehab won't deter him from appearing on US talent show The Voice. Armstrong checked himself in for treatment for substance abuse following an on-stage outburst during a festival performance in Las Vegas on Friday night.
A representative for NBC, who air The Voice, said that all of Armstrong's episodes have already been shot. The Green Day man was acting as a mentor to Christina Aguilera's team.
Phew, thank goodness for that.
Meanwhile, is it just us or are Green Day slowly starting to resemble The Golden Girls?
