Green Day Play Marlay Park (Not Slane)

15 December 2009

Boo! Slane related speculation has been scuppered with the news that Green Day's rumoured open air gig this summer will in fact take place at Marlay Park.

The Californian pop-punk icons have had a massive year, with the release of their eighth studio album '21st Century Breakdown', and the musical adaptation of its predecessor 'American Idiot' finally making it onto the stage.

Billy Joe Armstrong and the boys will play Marlay Park on June 23rd 2010. Tickets priced €61.80 go on sale this Friday December 18th and are limited to six per transaction.
