Glen Hansard has often cited Interference as an influence on his early career with The Frames, and now he'll get to front them at a special gig in Dublin next year.

With lead singer Fergus O'Farell sadly passing away earlier this year, Hansard will step into his role to celebrate his life and work at Vicar Street on February 5th.

There will also be some 'very special guests' and all profits from the night will go to two very important charities: Brú Columbanus – who provide a “home from home” accommodation for relatives of seriously ill patients in any of the Cork Hospitals and the Hospice, and the Respite Care Unit of Schull Community Hospital.

Tickets are €35 and on sale from usual outlets this Friday, November 4th.
