He only played Vicar Street a couple of weeks ago, but Glen Hansard will return to the same venue for two gigs in December.
These gigs will be a different proposition to his intimate acoustic performances, however - he'll be playing with a big band, complete with "strings, horns, bells and whistles" for a pre-Christmas special on December 17th and 18th.
Tickets are €40 and on sale from usual outlets this coming Tuesday, September 5th at 9am.
