This November 29th marks the 15th anniversary of Irish musician Mic Christopher, who sadly died while on tour in the Netherlands after falling down some steps.

Since his death, the Dubliner has been often remembered by his fellow musicians - particularly his close friend Glen Hansard, whom he started out busking with on Grafton Street.

To mark his 15th anniversary, a special gig is being staged at Vicar Street called 'Glen Hansard & Friends sing the songs of MIC CHRISTOPHER' on November 29th.

Support will come from Bronagh Gallagher, and an 'assortment of special guests' will lend a hand. All proceeds from the gig will be used to buy a van for the Rhode Youth Club in Co. Offaly.

Tickets are €36 including booking fee, and on sale this Thursday at 9am from usual outlets.
