Geri Halliwell teases Spice Girls reunion
06 February 2012We could be set for another bout of music nostalgia in the very near future with the news that Geri Halliwell has been talking about a potential Spice Girls reunion to celebrate (in a loose definition of that word, obviously) Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee in the summer.
This comes only a short time after Mel B had made a statement of her own hinting at the same. However it is thought that Victoria Beckham will not be a part of any reunion, preferring to stay in California with her family.
Halliwell told the Sunday Mirror: "We did get the offer and it is exciting. Obviously we are a band and it's a collective decision that has to be made as a band. Performing at Buckingham Palace for the Queen - it doesn't get bigger than that."
Halliwell also announced that she will be releasing a solo album before the end of 2012.
