We're just a couple of weeks removed from the start of the twelfth incarnation of Other Voices, where the small town of Dingle will once again transform itself into something of a mini-festival for a weekend.

The full line-up of bands who'll play in St. James' Church across the weekend of 6th, 7th and 8th of December has been announced. The music will then move northwards along the Wild Atlantic Way to The Glassworks, Derry on 7th, 8th and 9th February 2014. Aidan Gillen will return to present the series. See below for the full list of acts.

As per norm, there will be a whole lot of action over the three days in Dingle and it won't just be confined to the church either. DiThe hugely popular Other Voices Music Trail is back again, with a brilliant line-up of shows in venues around the town including Come On Live Long, Maud In Cahoots, Slow Skies, Bouts, Hermitage Green, Leanne Harte, Little Bear and many more . All Other Voices Music Trail events are free and will take place before and after the Church happenings.

This year also sees a return of Banter, a salon style series of discussion and debate curated and hosted by Jim Carroll which takes place in Foxy John’s Friday (5-6pm), Saturday (2-6pm) and Sunday (2-6pm). Names already announced include: Eimear McBride, David Gray, Alice Maher, John Grant, Donal Ryan and Pat Leahy.

Tickets, once again, will be free and can be won through various online and media competitions so keep an eye on the new website www.othervoices.ie
