If you're heading to Forbidden Fruit this weekend and wondering why the party winds down so (relatively) early, organisers have arranged a number of alternatives around Dublin city after the fun stops at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham.

With a curfew understandably in place, the 'By Night' programme kicks in at 11pm with a number of acts on the bill playing their own gigs at venues around town.

The caveat is that you must already have a ticket (a day ticket or a weekend wristband) for the festival to gain entry to the afterparties. If so, you're good to go and tickets for each gig are available separately from Ticketmaster now. (Tickets for The Malibu Club only are available on the door.)

The following acts will play the following locations over the weekend:

FRIDAY

Nicolas Jaar (DJ set) & Kowton @ The Button Factory

The Malibu Club @ The Grand Social

Special Guest @ Hangar (since they're not announcing this 'special guest' in advance, we're envisaging a fairly big artist - have a look at the festival line-up on Friday for a hint)

 ***

SATURDAY

Damian Lazarus & Floating Points @ The Button Factory

Discotekken with Alexander Nut featuring Fatima @ Generator, Smithfield

Groove Armada (DJ set) @ Pygmalion

Bruce Willis & Building Society @ Hangar

 ***

SUNDAY

Hot Since '82 @ The Button Factory (already sold out)

Adam Beyer & Matador @ Hangar

Tensnake @ Soder + Ko

Booka Shade (DJ set) @ Pygmalion

Buses will take you from the festival site to Dame Street after the festival finishes each night for €5 - you can buy your tickets in advance here.
