Florence Went Slightly Crazy
21 December 2009Florence Welch has admitted that she once went completely off the rails and, was not of sane mind. Shock that. She told The Observer that, after her break up (two years ago) with her boyfriend, she found herself loosing the rag. At one stage she feared that she would go completely over the edge.
In a strange admission, she said that one morning she woke up dressed as Captain America. Eh.... OK! It was only when her manager stepped in, got a wet fish, and slapped some sense into her by reminding her that she had to write a hit album, which would bring her stardom. She says: "I wasn't actually having fun. I was trying to cope with the fact that I was really upset and lonely. Now I'm not, and if I'm dressed as Captain America, it's probably for fun."
Thank god Florence got her self back on track, Amen.
