The first names for this year's Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival, which runs in various locations around Dublin from September 7th - 20th, have been announced.

They include Tony-nominated performance artist Mx Justin Vivian Bond, who will be joined by Thomas Bartlett in a collaborative show 'Mx Justin Vivian Bond ...And Things of THAT Nature!'. It will see songs from transgender artist Bond's 'Dendrophile' and 'Silver Wells', along with "astute social commentary, comic anecdotes about sex in trees and other nature-based extravagances from childhood memoir 'Tango: My Childhood, Backwards and in High Heels'."

Other non-musical highlights that have just been announced include a 'Beckett in the City' theatre project, comedy from Kim Noble and renowned Australian circus troupe Scotch & Soda.

This year, the festival Spiegeltent venue will return to its original location at Wolfe Tone Square in the city centre.

The full programme will follow in the coming weeks.

Early bird tickets for Mx Justin Vivian Bond and Scotch & Soda are now on sale via fringefest.com.
