The days of festival food being limited to soggy chips with vinegary ketchup and cardboard pizza are well and truly over, with most musical events in Ireland putting an extra special effort into making the culinary experience as positive as possible for most patrons.
That goes for next month's Body & Soul festival, too, largely thanks to Just-Eat, the online ordering app, who will have a presence at this year's festival. Not only will festival goers will be able to have their food delivered to them by Just Eat waiters - bringing their online service to life offline - but there's a tasty selection of grub on offer to order from, to boot.
Partnering with a range of diverse and well-known restaurants, cafes and festival-favourite traders, Just Eat waiters will take and deliver food orders on behalf of hungry festival goers - meaning no queues, no losing your friends and lots more time to enjoy the festival delights.
Some of the food on offer this year includes new partnerships with 3FE Coffee, Nobo (dairy-free ice cream) and juice bar Sprout & Co. There will also be food from the always-reliable L. Mulligan Grocer (Mulligan's of Stoneybatter), The Happy Pear, The Big Blue Bus Pizzeria, Natasha's Living Food, The Punnet Health Store and more.
In terms of other food-related happenings at the festival, you can expect an exhibition run by the folks behind the Science Gallery in Dublin, with more to be announced.
In any case, festival dining just got a whole lot more interesting, and infinitely easier.
