Hermitage Green have been around for several years now, so chances are that you'll be aware of the Limerick five-piece, who they are and what they do.
Since they've just inked a deal with Sony Music Ireland, we decided now was the perfect time to catch up with the band to find out their favourite albums - and one or two of their choices may surprise you.
The band release their new single 'Jenny' on June 5th, with a full-length album to follow later in the year. They're also touring nationwide over the next few weeks, so make sure to check out their website to see when and where they're playing near you.
BARRY MURPHY (vocals, bass): Van Morrison - 'Astral Weeks'

"It’s a masterclass in dynamic. Regardless of how heavy it is, the arrangements of songs are incredible - in particular their attention to grooves, rhythm changes, harmonies and downright hooky melodies. Any musician could take something from this album."
