Despite the fact that it's not yet Christmas, the folks behind Cork's Live at the Marquee festival have already announced a number of their key headliners for the 2011 festivities.

Once again taking place in Cork's Docklands for a number of weeks in June and July, 2011 will be the 7th year of the festival and will see Elton John return after his upcoming show at The O2 in December to headline a night in the Marquee.

Having played every year of the festival so far, Christy Moore will return for the seventh time on June 25th, while other Irish favourites Bell X1 and Imelda May will also take to the stage of the marquee, as will 2008's X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

To sum up, the dates announced for Live at the Marquee 2011 are as follows:
