A new area called 'Anachronia - The Generator in the Woods' will makes its debut at Electric Picnic this year.

Pitched as the "remains of an abandoned and forgotten city left over from a time unfamiliar", the stage will run from 10pm each night until the wee hours of the morning, long after the entertainment in the main area has finished.

The DJ/dance-oriented stage will feature the below:

Friday: All City Records Presents Subject Dublin’s Lee Kelly, Daire and Sonel and Frank B;

Saturday: District 8 Presents Cailin, Aeron and Rift B2B and Nathan Jones;

Sunday: Cork club night Sunday Times Presents Gilbert Steele, Kenny Hanlon and Sunday Times DJs.

The area will feature installations created out of scrap metal and recycled material by The Inevitable Salvagers, who have had their work described as like something you might see from a 'Mad Max' movie.
