Those of you biding your time before buying a ticket to this year's Electric Picnic might want to close your broswer right about now, as this year's festival in Stradbally has shifted all of its tickets in record time - despite an increased capacity this year of around 8,000 people.

Having already sold all of the additional Sunday day tickets in June (before even announcing which acts will play that day), the weekend tickets officially were all allocated as of yesterday.

This year's line-up is a strong one. Outkast, Portishead and Beck are the main attractions on the bill but there are dozens of other bands sprinkled throughout the various stages and areas contained within the festival who are worthy of note, particularly the recently announced glut of bands to play the Body & Soul stage.

Electric Picnic takes place in Stadbally Estate, Co Laois across the weekend of 29th to 31st of August.
