Today’s main stage headliners The Killers have attracted a massive influx of daytrippers to Electric Picnic. While it’s very much ‘the more the merrier’ once inside, the roads outside of the festival site – and indeed the security checks once inside – are choked with traffic. If you’re on the way right to Stradbally, prepare for some pretty substantial queues.

But once all that nonsense is out of the way and you’re inside the festival arena all memories of queues and traffic melt away. The sun is absolutely belting down today in Stradbally, already turning the some of the less-clothed revellers a subtle shade of pink. Don’t forget your suncream!

As for the music, today’s agenda for entertainment.ie includes Lianna Le Havas (3.30pm, Crawdaddy Stage), Michael Kiwanuka (Main Stage, 4.45pm), Elbow (Main Stage, 8pm) and LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy DJ Set (Little Big Tent, 9pm) and no doubt a few more surprises throughout the course of the day.

The Strypes will play their third Picnic set at 5pm at the Trailer Park stage. If you haven't seen them yet don't miss this final chance to see exactly what it is everyone has been talking about all weekend.

Oh, and having neglected to visit it thus far, a Pie Minister is also very much on the cards. Mmm.
