Guy Garvey has been enjoying the solo life for the last while, but the Elbow frontman says that fans of his band needn't worry about them not getting back together.

Garvey released his solo debut 'Courting the Squall' last year, but told Radio X that the Manchester band are working on the follow up to 2014's 'The Take Off and Landing of Everything' and are planning to release it early next year.

"We’re hoping to release next year, and it’s sounding great," he said. "[We're] hoping to have it out maybe February/March next year."

It's not yet clear who will replace founding member and dfrummer Richard Jupp in the band's line-up. Jupp announced his departure earlier this year.
