You may already have heard the remix version of Ed Sheeran's song 'Perfect', which features none other than Beyonce.

The song was re-done as a duet between the two stars, and now Sheeran has revealed how the collaboration actually came about.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "The original version of ‘Perfect’ was just an acoustic guitar, and she rung me up and was like, ‘I don’t know how you feel about this, but I’ve taken all the instruments off it and it’s just gonna be acoustic guitar,’ and I was like, ‘Ah that’s great, because it used to be that!’ Then when we got in together, it wasn’t so much notes, it was very much like a back and forth thing, like, ‘What’d you think of this?’ Or ‘What do you think of this?’ And [we were] probably in the studio for four hours.”

Perhaps more interestingly, he said that emailing Beyonce is a trial in itself, because she is so serious (or perhaps paranoid) about her privacy that she changes her email address every. single. week.

"I have an email address that I email that actually changes every week," he said. "She’s very good at [hiding]. It’s kind of like what I aspire to be, I think.”

Could you be bothered, though? Not to mention that it leaves the door open to anyone else pretending to be Beyonce if they got hold of her contacts list... does she have a secret sign-off? Some other distinct identifying mark? So many questions...
