Now, we can't say we've ever had to play a two-hour set in front of tens of thousands of people before - but surely the golden rule is 'always have a safety wee before you go on stage'.
It seems that Ed Sheeran didn't adhere to that particular rule at his gig in Cardiff the other night, as he had to stop the gig not once but twice, due to bladder issues.
After playing 'Galway Girl' on Saturday night, he excused himself from the stage saying that he 'needed a pee' - and just a few songs later, he stopped mid-song during 'Photograph', saying "I'm so sorry, Cardiff" before dashing off again.
According to reports, he told the crowd: "I've been gigging since I was 14 and I've never done that. And now I do it in front of 60,000 people".
Bladder issues or a dodgy curry pre-gig? You decide...
When @edsheeran says ‘Cardiff, I’m going to do something I’ve never done before’
and you get all excited thinking it’s a new song or something and he follows on with
‘I’m really sorry, I need to pee, I’ll be quick’ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂— kel ðŸ?? (@justmeinnit) June 23, 2018

First concert I’ve ever been to when the main artist has needed the loo (twice) during a set.. including one halfway through a song?! Good night though. #EdSheeran
