D.A.R.K., the new supergroup led by former Cranberries woman Dolores O'Riordan, have delayed the release of their forthcoming album.

The record, 'Science Agrees', was due for release on May 27th, but both it and their planned tour to accompany its release have been postponed.

O'Riordan formed the group with former Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Olé Koretsky and were due to play Whelan's, Dublin on May 16th as well as Dolan's in Limerick on May 13th..

They will now play Dolan's on September 16th and Whelan's on September 19th.

The band released a statement explaining their reasons:

“To all our fans we are so sorry to announce that we have to postpone our forthcoming tour until September due to the last minute unavailability of our lead guitarist and the deferral of the release of our debut album until late August. All tickets already purchased will be valid for the relevant rescheduled shows in September. For those of you who cannot make it to our rescheduled shows full refunds will be given. We sincerely regret this and hope to see you at our shows in September.”
