Last week, we brought you news of the very exciting Metropolis festival, which includes the likes of Mark Ronson, The Roots, Giorgio Moroder and Chic on its bill.

The first festival of its kind will take place at the RDS in Dublin this November 7th and 8th and weekend early bird tickets are already sold out, despite going on sale just a week ago.

Now, organisers have announced that day tickets will be available from today, due to unexpected demand.

The headliner for Saturday, November 7th is The Roots, while the programme on Sunday, November 8th will be headlined by Chic featuring Nile Rodgers. Over 40% of the line-up has yet to be announced, but it already includes the below:

CHIC feat Nile Rodgers, The Roots, Mark Ronson , Jamie xx, Giorgio Moroder, Todd Terje, Kaytranada, Jeff Mills, Tiga (Live), Kerri Chandler, KiNK (Live), Maribou State (Live), Dorian Concept (Live) , Matthew Herbert (Live), Nosaj Thing (Live), Kormac's Big Band and Cloud Castle Lake.

Day tickets are €79.50 and on sale from usual outlets now.
