You might think that the furniture collection of someone like David Bowie is filled with high-end pieces, lots of famous designers, a distinct lack of IKEA or Argos.

Well, you'd be right. However, when the late musician's bits and pieces are being auctioned next month at Sotheby's, you don't necessarily have to be loaded to pick up an item of two for your own home - the lowest-priced item is available at £60, according to NME, although it is not specified what that piece is.

The auction, titled 'Bowie/Collector' will also auction off some of the icon's art collection, which includes paintings by Damien Hirst - including one created in collaboration with Bowie, valued at £250k - £350k -  Picasso, Irish artist Louis Le Brocquy, some of his own work and even a chess set once owned (and signed) by Man Ray.
