David Bowie releases new single, album due in March
How's this for some exciting news of rainy Tuesday morning: David Bowie has released a new single, along with an accompanying music video, and his first album since 2003's Reality, will follow.
The Next Day, Bowie's 30th studio recording, will see the light of day in March but if that seems like too much of a wait, the music video for the album's first single 'Where Are We Now?' is available to watch below right now!
The music video apparently focuses on the time Bowie spent in Berlin as a young man in the 1970s.
A statement from Columbia Records read: "Throwing shadows and avoiding the industry treadmill is very David Bowie despite his extraordinary track record that includes album sales in excess of 130 million, not to mention his massive contributions in the area of art, fashion, style, sexual exploration and social commentary."
And if that wasn't enough David Bowie news for you, the man himself turns 66 today. Happy birthday David!
